The Young Librarian Summary

The author of this work was one Dan Marlowe, a pretty famous suspense writer who did the Earl Drake and Johnny Killaine series for Fawcett. In a year's time, Marlowe cranked out four novels for Dansk, maybe more. He was 60 then, so it's likely he had these titles laying around. Plot itself is only vaguely library-related. A young gal with a violent upbringing becomes a lesbian and is blackmailed by several young patrons into performing numerous actions on them. Marlowe's skills in character development are on hand such that, contrary to other works, you actually find yourself caring about the lass. Disturbing.
