Most of his priestly life was spent in giving the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. Having studied both the old theology and the new theology he is convinced that the continuity is so great that you cannot understand the new until you have mastered the old. He was Director of Montserrat, the Jesuit Retreat House in Dallas, Pastor of St. John’s Church in Shreveport, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Tampa, and taught in the Jesuit High Schools of Dallas and Tampa. He has written extensively on the spiritual life including “The Wonderful World of Reality,” “The Dignity and Responsibility of Being Human,” and “The Liturgy of the Heart.” His radio program is entitled, “The Journey of Faith.” |
