| This book, entitled 'Al-Bukhari's Authentic Hadiths: Book 62: Wedlock, Marriage (Nikaah)', is a collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), also known as the Sunnah. Bukhari, who lived a couple of centuries after the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) death, worked extremely hard to collect this information. Each report in his collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur'an, and the veracity of the chain of reporters had to be painstakingly established.
