Three Irish Tales of Terror Summary

"Three Irish Tales of Terror" is a collection of Irish folk tales that takes place in Ireland in the fictional County Daire based on the folktales of the Banshees, Leprechauns, and some Irish witch lore.

First, is "The Jaded Leprechaun," who is caught by the good Mr. Scissors, the town hardware store owner, whose luck surely increases until the leprechaun returns for his pot o' gold in the thrilling conclusion.

Second, is "Be Thankful for the Gifts ye Have!", a tale of the Banshee, considered the first definitive Banshee story where the Banshee is the central character.

Third, is "The Witch and The Blarney Stone," the saga of Harry O'Kelley, who they say "kissed a witch and the Blarney stone and it seems to have done him in!"

Somewhat mature, romantic, and terrifying, it has been called a "Darby O' Gill comes of age!" taken from the folktales and legends of W.B. Yeats.

About the Author:
Loki, the penname for S.D. Larkin, is of Irish/Scotch ancestry born in Cambridge, Massachusetts roughly 39 years past and is currently working on a novelization of "Beowulf" to be published later this year.
