He renounced his allegiance to the Duke of Baden in 1859, and joined the Union Army on January 18th of 1862. Moving from Buffalo, New York to Cheboygan, Michigan he was a pioneer whose memory lives on. Numerous photographs, and historical family documents before 1900. Also includes members of the Hubacher family before 1900. |
