Left deaf and blind in infancy, this is the story of a remarkable woman. Written when she was a college student at the beginning of the 20th century, it describes not only determination in overcoming obstacles, but the pleasure that can come from using other senses. Certainly not patronizing, but inspiring. This is an Enhanced Letter Format (ELF) book. This means there are five versions which you will receive. There is a version in 28 and another in 48 point type. In addition, each type size has a version suitable for printing and one for viewing on a computer screen.
