Saying Something under Compulsion (Ikraah); Tricks Summary

This book, entitled 'Al-Bukhari's Authentic Hadiths: Books 85 - 86: Saying Something under Compulsion (Ikraah); Tricks', is a collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), also known as the Sunnah. Bukhari, who lived a couple of centuries after the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) death, worked extremely hard to collect this information. Each report in his collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur'an, and the veracity of the chain of reporters had to be painstakingly established. Bukhari's collection is accepted by the majority of the Muslim world to be one of the most authentic collections of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). However, it is important to realise that Bukhari's collection is only one of many: there are other scholars who worked as hard as Bukhari did and collected other authentic reports.
