During a twelve-year stint in the Air Force he completed the requirements for a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management. Then he sold cars, insurance and financial products. After many years as a certified computer expert, he became a licensed real estate agent. Being married to a Latin teacher (Cindy) for over 20 years gave him an appreciation and interest in Roman culture and history. This led to his hobby of making mosaics. Because of his knowledge and skill with mosaics, he has performed numerous demonstrations and short seminars on making mosaics for local and state associations. He has traveled throughout Britain, Italy and even some of Germany, marveling at the remains of the once world dominated Roman Empire. He hopes his stories will aid his Latin teacher friends in their endeavors to keep the accomplishments of the ancient Romans alive in their classrooms. |
