Murder in Hollywood: The Secret Life and Mysterious Death of Bonny Lee Bakely Summary

On the night of Friday, May 4, Robert Blake left his wife of almost six months waiting in their car outside Vitello's Italian restaurant in Studio City while he returned to the restaurant to retrieve his gun -- or so he told the police.

First with Jerry Lee Lewis in Memphis -- with whom she allegedly had a child -- and later with Robert Blake, whom she forced into a loveless marriage by giving birth to his daughter, Bakley went from one money-source to the next, leaving a trail of broken hearts, penniless wallets, and abandoned children. And she made some enemies along the way.

Blake reported to police seeing a man in his early twenties with crew-cut hair and a black pickup truck watching the property where the actor and his new family lived. Meanwhile, Bakley's half brother reported to the authorities a comment Bakl
