Mr. Monk in Outer Space Summary
| When the creator of the 1970s TV series "Beyond Earth" is murdered at a science fiction convention, Monk is called in to investigate. Cult followers of the original show are horrified that it is being reimagined as a dark and gritty serie, which has led authorities to suspect that a fan is behind the murder. Monk soon finds himself surrounded by people who are just as obsessive compulsive as he is, only their obsessions are focused on the minutiae of a fictional universe.
