Missing Person Summary:

Retired Marine Corps Sergeant Major Michael Kincaid holds a master's degree in English literature, and is an associate professor at a college near Port Angeles on Washington State's beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Michael has a flair for writing that resulted in publication of several detective novels. He is approached by a 'fan,' an elderly woman who is impressed with his 'magnificent detecting instincts,' and wishes to retain him to locate her son, missing from her life for twenty years. Kincaid reluctantly accepts, and quickly learns the vast differences between writing fictional detective novels and being lead investigator on a real missing person case. He soon finds himself in a quagmire of intrigue, greed, violence and most vicious murder, as he takes up the search for a Missing Person.
