| As the first human to interact with an intelligent alien species, Richard Muller learned almost nothing during his year-long visit to the home planet of the strange, silent Hydrans. At the end of his mission, Muller discovers that the Hydrans secretly altered his mind to radiate his emotions to any human who comes near.
