Sick building syndrome plagued computer security expert Julie Wynn. Simply walking through the gleaming glass doors of ExecuSource Financial buckled her stomach and tightened her ribs around her lungs. Any weekday brought watery eyes, a runny nose, and headaches that drove roofing nails into her skull. Each tick of the time clock intensified her misery. Her life as a corporate slave was killing her.

One by one her friends end up in the hospital with debilitating symptoms the doctors can't explain. But when Julie tries to put her health first and quit, her boss threatens to blame her for an impending multi-million dollar lawsuit from the Business Software Alliance.
