My father-in-law was a really nice person and died quite young. His wife was not nice at all and
lived to quite an age. In this novel I had her die young and Russ lived to have the retirement
that he deserved. I gave him a completely different life, including all the things that he hadn't
had, including love. I also told my children stories about an old man who got into all kinds of troubles and when she got older, my eldest daughter wanted me to write them into a book. I put the two themes together in this story. I think you will like it. Don |
