Jasper Small, the little boy flea meets a couple of unfriendly farm cows. He thinks the two cows are rude when he overhears them talking about Miss Becky, the friendly burro in whose ear Jasper and his family live.

Dressed in his bright red shirt, he becomes the unwitting target of a snorting bull who charges close enough to the tiny flea to flip him up into the air and causes him to land on the dangerous bull's back.

Fear courses all through his little body as he is buffeted by the bull's antics. Jasper holds on for dear life to keep from being tossed into the pasture. He's sure he might die. That mean old bull twisted and bucked and turned and twisted some more.
