The study of small business in the information age has become a growing topic for academic research and debate, particularly in the area of intellectual property protection and its management. Based on the findings of a number of research projects, this timely contribution focuses on intellectual property management in small and medium-sized enterprises from both a national and international perspective and addresses this issue in the context of innovation and knowledge management.
