mprisoned Prince Meg Harris Prince Barrak of Terra is sent to negotiate for peace with the Zytellians, an aggressive, matriarchal species which has conquered much of the known galaxy. Tiryl, the leader of the Zytellians, refuses to negotiate with a male, and she makes Barrak her prisoner instead.
