This is a collection of nine short stories which tell the larger story of the fictional history of robots. Humans who appear from story to story are Dr. Susan Calvin, chief robotpsycholgist of U.S. Robots and Mechanical Men, Inc., the major manufacturer of robots and the field testers Powell and Donovan. Though the stories can be read separately, they share a theme of the interaction of humans, robots and morality and tell of the aberrant behavior of some of the robots. The book also contains the short story in which Asimov's famous Three Laws of Robotics first appears. This is an Extra Large Print publication specifically formatted by the Virginia M.
