Those that are the object of hatred are affected as if it were a force, an energy.  History shows how hate becomes a passion, fueling unspeakable acts.  When hatred comes from many, focused on one, it becomes a driving force within that individual.  Let it be focused on one already slipping into the grasp of something dark, something evil, and a bridge opens between this world and another.  Terror from things most are lucky to never know emerges.
