The plot is carried by a broad collection of truly weird characters, crooked politicians, and determined foriegn gangsters. Our baffled, if innocent heroes are faced with violent attacks, culture clashes, torrid love affairs, overbearing politicians, illegal drug dealing, religious cons, and near-death hangovers. Lurching from the serious to the bizarre, via misery, doubt, and laughter, this first book of the Seven Deadly Sins series has more pratfalls than the Marx Brothers. |
