To make more sandwiches, substitute one type of meat or cheese for another.  For example, a Ham and Cheese sandwich takes on a different flavor when you substitute smoked Gouda or a double Havarti for the regular cheese.  Smoked Turkey and Swiss with Pepper Jelly sandwiches are one of our favorite "inventions".

P.S. For our friends on the Atkins(r) or South Beach(r) diets, substituting a low-carb tortilla for the bread and low-carb /low-fat condiments (steak sauce, ketchup, oil and vinegar dressing, etc.) will bring most of these sandwiches in line with your range.
