The Globalisation of Corporate R & D examines the implications of new trends of globalisation of corporate research and development. In recent years, transnational corporations have begun to develop strategic research and development capabilities in developing countries. This R & D is related to developing products for the global markets or basic research to develop generic technologies for companys' long term use.
