THE GLEANING TIME

Arc One-In the Beginning

The time is the chaotic post-Rapture period known as the Tribulation and a youth by the name of Peter Roccque is on the run.  He is one of a growing number of rebels refusing to have the TM chip implanted, a mandatory form of identification decreed by Isaac Abram, the new leader of the Unified World Community, the one-world government developed to maintain order after the strange disappearances.  He manages to escape to a landfill in a wilderness north of Boston and while traveling through the woods, discovers a cave that is actually an intricate military type bunker where he seeks refuge.  There he is confronted by three other young adults and an older man who have also become fugitives of the new law enforcement organization Unified World Force by refusing to have the TM chip implanted.  The older man, known only as Brother Danny welcomes the newcomer and then the group is expanded further when another girl joins them after she is rescued from a coven that was about to burn her as a heretic for refusing taking the TM chip as well.

            Uneasy at first because of the tense circumstances bringing them together, the youths all slowly get acquainted with each other with some reservations.  At the same time, Brother Danny leads them in times of prayer and Bible study, preparing them for some unknown task as he also plans to override the messages from the UWC on the Internet with truth from the scriptures.  One day while in meditation, he is informed of a visitation from the Holy Spirit and he tells the group, bringing them together to wait and then in a bright light from heaven, the five young adults are filled and given supernatural powers, representing the full armor of God.  Calling themselves the Full Armor Team, they are about to embark on quest to gather the remnant of those without The Mark left by the Harvest of the Rapture or glean, while trying to stay one step ahead of Abram and his UWCà
