The "Millfield Mine Explosion" recalls the feelings of Goodwin as a sixth-grader when an explosion killed 161 miners. His other recollections include a tale from his first trip to see his great-grandmother when it took all day to drive forty miles. But perhaps most memorable is Goodwin's trip to Mallorca, Spain, to visit his daughter.
