In the hills of Covington, Hannah, Grace, and Amelia are dismayed to learn that their neighbor is dying, and like the good neighbors they are, the ladies pitch in to try to help out his family in any way they can. Grace becomes involved with a little girl at the local elementary school who may be having terrible problems at home. Meanwhile, Hannah's daughter, Laura, experiences a terrible accident that has consequences for all the ladies. Amelia makes a momentous trip to New York City, and finally, a chance meeting at a family wedding disrupts the relationship of Grace's son and his lover. |
