Flight Without Limits Summary:

Palm Reader Version - A SCIFI novel with a twist. Science fiction about a space voyage to Alpha Centauri with a touch of reality. - Alpha Centauri is the nearest solar system to our own. It has three suns and is located a mere 4.35 light years from earth. - Can you imagine the logistics involved in mounting a multiyear space mission, complete with the needed food resources? In building the technologies for such a voyage we have to bow to the physics of the universe. In that domain we cannot cheat. - However, we also live in a second universe, the mental universe, the universe of ideas. Here a 'space' voyage is not bound to inherent limits, not even the limits imposed by distance. The concept of distance becomes unknown, even socially and romantically. - In the novel both worlds become gradually combined. One of the two stands in metaphor in order that the two worlds can interact and enrich one another.

Imagine, travelling in an instant to wherever you want to be! The universe is your playground. Thought becomes expression. This is science fiction. Maybe mentally it isn't? The novel is about a space voyage to Alpha Centauri, the nearest solar system to our own. It starts as a high tech voyage, but it becomes much more than that. It links up with a future that is moving backwards, but then sequences on to a present that has no future, but for which a future is created. Of course, being able to travel to wherever one may want to be has certain social advantages, and challenges. Of course, politically it has its own great challenges attached. - Some people say that we will never have this capability, physically. They might be right. But we do have it mentally, in the world of science, romance, and spirituality, all of which are threaded through the novel. You will find that when you return you may have left some of the old limits behind.
