FISH! FOR LIFE is a true sequel to FISH! in that it features the characters Mary Jane and Lonnie from that book. But it can also be read as a stand-alone work. Mary Jane and Lonnie start building a life together and proceed to navigate through a series of challenging changes. Lonnie leaves the market in order to finish a college degree and the Pike Place Market retires his apron in a moving and fun-filled event. Mary Jame adjusts to married life and supporting the household as a working mother. The kids adjust to a new dad and everyone adjusts when Mary Jane announces she will be giving birth to their first child together.
