|
Trapped in Delhi when Timur-i attacks, the vampire Saint-Germain finds himself "attached" to the invading army as a healer. A torture device ensures his "loyalty;" lack of nourishment and exposure to the sun nearly kill him before he can make any allies among the self-serving camp followers who trail the ravaging destroyer Timur-i.
