The Essence of Loreley Summary
| Liv is a passenger on her father's raft, which carries lumber to the Netherlands. It is her first trip on the mighty Rhein and she is delighted to be approaching the storied Loreley Rock, on which she will be gazing for the first time. But as it comes into view, cannon fire sounds, chaos erupts, and she is dumped into the forceful water. When she awakens she finds herself in the ruins of a castle overlooking the Rhein, captive to a madman who would make her the Loreley of legend. |
