Just before an accident leaves Jovan Givens comatose, he hands his best friend, Montgomery Quinn, a stolen thumb drive
in a desperate attempt to uncover his wife perceived affair. Distraught, Montgomery curiously delves into the elaborate software on the drive. He discovers Jovan’s wife is involved in a society of African American women called Njama and they will do anything to make sure their secret is preserved. In a matter of days, Montgomery’s life mysteriously spirals out of control - until he receives help from a covert source who provides the tools necessary to respond. In a frantic race against time, Montgomery and his accomplices find themselves matching wits with a group of well-connected women in the underground power of Washington, D.C. With his life crumbling and the net tightening around him, he has a choice. He can fight back and lose everything or he can try to unravel the Enigma of Njama. About the Author: Anthony Wilbon was born in Flint, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University where he majored in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he moved to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and began his career working for Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He also worked for various technology-related companies including American Management Systems and Booz-Allen and Hamilton. While attempting to climb the corporate ladder, he completed his MBA at Howard University. Working at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, he then realized that corporate America was not for him and went back to school to complete his Ph.D. at George Washington University and is now a university professor. Always an avid reader, Wilbon knew he would one day publish a novel. His first novel, The Enigma of Njama, set in Washington, D.C., is a story about a young college professor finding himself embattled with a secret sect of highly intelligent African American women. |
