Enchanter returns us to a world in the grip of prophecy and war. Axis has bested his foes and gone off to the Icarri stronghold, Talon Spike, to discover his heritage and his relationship with his newfound father, the Icarri elder StarDrifter. There he will learn to wield his new Enchanter powers, come to know the ways of the Icarri people, and once again encounter the haunting Azhure, the woman warrior who is more than she seems.

Each truth revealed unearths another puzzle and Axis is left with tantalizing clues that he must use to fulfill a prophecy and reunite the bird-like Icarri and the forest dwelling Avar peoples into a single powerful kingdom under his rule. Only then will balance finally be restored and peace descend upon the land.
