Presenting a unique understanding and a new approach to the meaning of wealth, this comprehensive three-book series clearly explains why wealth and creation both share the same dual make-up. By hyper-linking the material and the spiritual as the elements of wealth and also creation, the author reveals the material as the hardware of existence and eliminates any uncertainty as to the spiritual being the software of life.

Outlined below are the three timely books, and like a trilogy, they are individually complete, yet closely related in theme and sequence. Challenging and polemic, the work’s unorthodox philosophy will create debate, and by comprehensively answering, the following compelling queries the tools-of-life provided the reader takes the trilogy far beyond being merely iconoclastic.

Who has a compelling interest in material wealth and a deep concern regarding spiritual well-being? The answer to both of these universal questions is that almost everyone is fascinated, if not preoccupied with these profound issues. Then why is it that, although we live in an infinite universe of inestimable value, and most of us know how to earn a living, only a comparatively few become accomplished and well off? Moreover, disregarding the many achievements people realize, why are there so few who feel a deep sense of worth, independence, or fulfillment?

About the Author:

Having wrestled with many of the same concerns and harboring similar aspirations as have the majority of his Boomer generation, the author’s goal is to share his findings that brought a long sought after resolution to a personal yet common inner struggle. The grappling within his conscience was between a spiritual quest that began in the late 1960’s and the very material realities that an international career as an architect, contractor, and developer necessarily presents. The author came to see an eloquent resolution for the seeming to be inherent conflict between humanity’s intrinsic spirituality and the material aspects of life, as being an unwarranted even if a universal dilemma. The surprising discovery was that wealth is not solely measured in gold, riches, or treasure, but possesses a dual personality with an inseparable spiritual element.
Born and educated in New York City where he attended Pratt Institute from which he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science, the author lived in the Caribbean for twenty-five years, and then New England, the Southwest, and the Southeast United States. Living in an unfamiliar culture fostered his ability to first question and then appreciate that multiple sides to every issue can legitimately coexists. Being an architect refined the craft of synthesizing often conflicting elements, and by using logic and reason translate intangible ideals, concepts, and wishes into tangible forms. Each of these experiences and abilities contributed to his capacity to first search for the solution to the quandary that haunted him, and, as he came to understand many other people, and then write the manuscript. The author believes that the reader will benefit from his work, which is the outcome of his inclination to query, his multi-cultural experiences, and his iconoclastic leaning, which is typical of his generation.
Prior to the writing of The Elements of Wealth the author had published numerous articles on design and management topics, and authored a book on Old San Juan. Throughout his life he has been involved in community service and for over four decades he has been an active member of the Baha’i Faith. It is from its teachings that he first found the key to unlock the knowledge that eased his inner struggle. Then unexpectedly, and what by chance became an unavoidable sub theme of The Elements of Wealth, he gained an insight into why God’s creation works… well!
