An investigation into the victim's past reveals some shady dealings with a host of political hot-shots in town, ranging from two high-powered attorneys all the way up to people in the mayor's office. As Keough tries to navigate through a political maze of corruption and scandal, he becomes the target of a character assassination campaign in the form of trumped-up sexual harassment charges.

In order to save himself and his reputation, Keough must track down the vicious serial killer and uncover the identity of the evil master-mind behind it all.
