When an earthquake in the mountainous Pacific region of the United States opens up a hole in the ground at the corner of the McCartney house, Terry McCartney, his buddy Wally, and Terry's girlfriend, Eve, stumble upon an underground cave filled with secrets, riches, and possibly a lost Indian tribe.

The friends uncover clues left by the Aztecs, leading them to believe that the tribe mysteriously vanished into another dimension. With the help of archaeologist Dr. Flanagan and his lovely young assistant, Martha, they work to decode a message from an artifact that will explain the truth behind the strange disappearance of an entire Aztec tribe.
