Black Africa, White Woman Summary:

This is the exciting well-written autobiography of a woman recounting a period of ten years living in Africa. Basically it entails the true story of a girl escaping from an oppressive family in the U.S. to live in Africa initially during a civil war between whites and Africans. There she eventually became a call girl for the wealthy whites but at a critical point of her stay is befriended by the Assistant Commissioner of Police who conspires with her to raid and close the establishment. Through her experiences both good and bad, this woman was able to come to an understanding and awareness lifting her to a higher consciousness and new direction in life.

The book contains many humorous and "not so humorous" anecdotes about her life and people she befriended, unique only to Africa.
