In the days of old when knights ruled the land of Castle Rockshade, Kyla Kiro is one of the selected maidens. However, she does not want to be forced to marry the evil Sir Edwin O'Hane and persuades Shane Wynex the man she really loves to escape with her to the surrounding forest.

Over the years several couples had attempted to do this but none have succeeded. The males involved were assassinated and the women sent to serve their days in the royal concubines.
