of short stories about the amazing dog. THE TRAIN, THE HERMIT, AND KING MOUNTAIN. THE TRAIN, is an exciting story about Whirlwind and his friends as they battle a nearby town for the right to play in the Little League World Series. It is a story about loyalty, friendship, courage, and bravery. THE HERMIT, finds the gang on an adventure to their favorite swimming hole. They play and frolic in the hot Texas sun. Their fun is interrupted by an encounter with a stranger, that lives on the banks of the river where they swim. It is a story that is fun, exciting and full of action. KING MOUNTAIN, finds whirlwind climbing a flat top mountain. On this mesa in West Texas, Whirlwind faces a dangerous foe that threatens the entire gang. His bravery and courage earns him a place in the towns peoples hearts. |
