The e-book, 2010 Guidelines for an Absolutely Professional Resume in Four Steps was written by Susan Sovine, PhD, the Director of Absolutely Professional Resume Service. This business began as a part-time venture writing resumes for friends and co-workers in 1987. After two years, the clientele grew so large Susan quit her job as a Technical Writer for an aerospace company to devote to the new, thriving business. Susan retired from resume writing in June 2009. During the 22 years of director of the company, she wrote over 6,000 resumes. Susan earned a Ph.D. from the University of Sedona. The Guidelines provide ample, but concise, directions for the completion of your resume including what to include in and formatting your contact information, how to develop your Profile and/or Areas of Expertise, what is important in listing your Professional Experience, and finally how to showcase your Education and Training.
