Born as the son of Mr. K. V. Mathew and Mrs. Sosamma Mathew, Kaduthanathu, Valakuzhy, Pathanamthitta (Dist.), Kerala State (INDIA)

Education at Pre-Degree level at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla. Degree in Civil Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam during 1977. Undergone higher education at College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram and obtained the Degree of Master of Technology in Structural Engineering from the University of Kerala during 1988

Employed as Engineer under Kerala State Public Works Department since 1979. Now on long leave being employed as Project Co-ordinator, Al-Ghanim International Construction Co., Kuwait.
