Where: Jerusalem,
Judea, the Sinai and the Red Sea.
When: Today and all
the yesterdays.
Background: One of the Dead
Sea Scrolls, dictated by Mary Magdalene and transcribed by an Essene monk,
disappeared in 1948 at the time of the Qumran excavations. A unique document
produced by a direct witness of Christ that has survived until present day, the
revelation of its contents may shake Christianity and Islam.
Theme: The Great
Mystery.
Plot: A man travels
to Jerusalem to acquire the Scroll. This is his first visit to Israel, but
wherever he goes, he is assailed by strange memories. And not just memories: one
night he goes to a cabaret where a young woman is singing. A woman he knew -
defying all logic - nine thousand years ago in Jericho. An impossible meeting.
A voyage through the ages to the source of love.
A Scroll and all that it
elicits: envy, conspiracy, danger, bravery, stupidity, and cowardice. Not to
mention unbelievable memories that infuse mundane reality, and the beating of
drums and of hearts. The song of a land joined in blood and light.
