eBook Summary:
New eBook eNovel, Ash Island, may be a guide to finding a real billion-dollar lost treasure of gold!

This fictional action adventure mystery suspense thriller is based on finally solving the actual 200-year lost treasure puzzle on the island known as Oak Island. After more than two hundred years of worldwide publicity, everyone knows the hidden treasure is at the bottom of the flooded shaft on the tiny island in the bay on the eastern side of Nova Scotia, Canada. Yet, after two centuries of effort, even with modern technology, no one has been able to figure out how to actually find and retrieve the hidden treasure from the diabolical trap.

Until perhaps now. The authors of Ash Island, through their protagonist in the novel, professional treasure hunter Robin Thane, have identified a plausible theory as to why the treasure is NOT at the bottom of the flooded shaft and a theory on what is the actual map that may lead to the real location of the hidden treasure.

Their premise is that the design of the island mystery is the map itself! It is based on the fact that the extensive engineering and construction of the wharf, beach and flooding systems and the shaft were all carefully hidden. The telltale overhanging tree limb over the shaft was not left as the result of an overlooked mistake but rather was left as a red flag to entice someone to ultimately dig and actually set off the trap.

There has been a previous precedent where a fictional story based on fact lead to the actual discovery of a fabulous lost city and treasure.

Heinrich Schliemann. It was said that as a child he had read Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, and had become driven with the idea of someday finding the lost city of Troy. In 1870, the scholars of the day were all of the belief that the Troy in Homer’s epics was simply a figment of Homer’s imagination. Troy had not existed.  But Heinrich Schliemann believed otherwise. Using Homer’s story, he calculated where the city lay buried. It was in Turkey, three miles south of the Dardanelles, the gateway to the Black Sea. He dug on a huge mound on the flat plain known as Hissarlik. In four years of excavations, he unearthed seven cities, layered one upon one another. Then he found the treasure cache of almost ten thousand gold pieces.

And could the hidden treasure of Oak Island really be up to a billion dollars? Consider this. For just a small fortune, one simply hides the treasure. But given the intricacy and considerable amount of engineering effort that went into the flooding system that seemingly protects the mystery treasure of Oak Island, the treasure cache is more likely to be a HUGE fortune. Otherwise, why so much effort. And if the treasure is in actual Inca gold artifacts rather than melted down gold bars, then the actual current market value of each piece will far exceed the mineral value of the gold.

Thus, some people after reading the story of Ash Island, may want to grab a shovel and head for Nova Scotia. Perhaps someone might find a billion-dollar hidden gold treasure with clues based on this fictional story.
