As she was growing up, she read everything, but discovered, that the romance novels she loved, lacked to extra cherry on top in their love scenes. Being a romantic at heart she was discouraged to see that after everything the hero and heroine goes through to be together the sexual aspect of it was skimmed over.

So while Paige was working as a marketing director, she would read during the lunch hour, go back to work to design fliers and postcards, and plot the conclusion of the story in her mind.
