Hi……let me introduce myself!
Let me briefly explain how I became involved in brick fireplaces and construction. After spending 15 years as a professional builder working on a range of construction projects my skills became recognised by the local technical college. I spent the next 15 years teaching building students in 4 technical colleges until I was awarded membership of the famous City & Guilds of London Institute for services to construction and teaching. Luckily, I learnt the ‘traditional’ brickwork skills from the ‘old boys’ and developed the ability to transfer detailed instructions to others over time… whilst teaching I was often asked if I could provide guidance on building design features from times gone by and I found myself developing skills with decorative building features. I’ve successfully applied these skills to many satisfied customers who have gone on to complete many projects in their own time. So I feel able to offer you guidance, based on my wealth of experience. The good news is that with the power of the Internet it’s possible to teach from a distance….. so I am confident I can help you achieve your goal to complete many projects in and around your home.
