Since the early 1970s, author Fred Strelow and his wife, Gloria, have traveled across the United States and abroad. They have been through all of the lower forty-eight states and like to claim that they were once in four states at the same time.

The Four Corners is the only place in the United States where four states intersect at a common point. At this point, it is possible to touch four different states-Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah-at the same time.

My Journey through Life Expressed in Poetry recounts the Strelows' cherished traveling experiences as depicted through poetry. Each poem has an introductory story that explains the inspiration behind it. The poems are also supplemented with maps and pictures. My Journey through Life. is a unique collection of more than fifty poems.
