Über die Autorin: Claudia Keller, Jahrgang 1944, ist Spross einer echten Künstlerfamilie: die Mutter Tänzerin, der Vater Schauspieler, der Großvater Schriftsteller. Geboren in Schlesien, aufgewachsen im Ruhrgebiet hat sie sich mittlerweile im hessischen Frankfurt niedergelassen.
1977 gab sie ihr Romandebüt mit dem Titel "Das Ehespiel", seit Anfang der 80er Jahre folgten mehrere Romane und Kurzgeschichten. Ihre bekanntesten Romane sind: "Ich schenk Dir meinen Mann" (1995, Verfilmung 1999); "Einmal Himmel und retour" (1997) und "Unter Damen" (1999).
Claudia Keller wurde für ihr Werk bisher mit dem "Frankfurter Fabrikschreiberpreis", dem "Aachener Literaturpreis" und dem "Hafispreis" ausgezeichnet. Zuletzt erschien von Claudia Keller im Frühjahr 2004 der Roman "Den Teufel an die Wand" (Blanvalet Hardcover).
