Einzelne Gemarkungsnamen verraten nur zu deutlich die Selbstkritik der W?ldler ?ber ihre engste, selten verlassene Heimat; hier hei?t ein Wiesengrund das "elende L÷chle", dort eine felsendurchsetzte, von Bergf÷hren umwucherte Fl?che das "÷de Land". Und verschlossen, rauh wie seine Heimat ist auch der Hauensteiner in dieser alten Gemarkung mit seiner z?hen Anh?nglichkeit an die alten Zeiten, an die sagenhaften alten "Handfesten und Privilegy" des Grafen Hans, an sie Einung und mittelalterliche Reichsunmittelbarkeit mit ihren schweren K?mpfen gegen Obrigkeit und neues Recht. "Hotzen" hei?en die Bewohner des Hauensteiner Waldgrundes nach ihrer k?nstlich gef?lteten Pluderhose, die oft zehn bis zw÷lf Ellen Tuch beansprucht, wenn die nach Geschmack und Brauch der st?mmigen alemannischen W?ldler sein soll.
