FACTS

. The entire novel is based on a single line from The Abydos Triad.

. The book features the debut of the Gwyliad Wriaeth (White Guard)--a group of ancient Celtic Vampire Hunters. Terence had written a short story entitled Specter's Lost Journal Entry before this book was started. It features the characters of Marcus Specter and Caitlin early in their shared histories.

. This novel changes the OPR Universe irrevocably. Several of the major characters die (one of the core team members as well).

. The cover was designed by an incredibly talented digital artist known as Lunar Dollz. It truly captures the look of Caitlin for the book.

. As with the zombies in The Abydos Triad, Terence tried to re-vamp the image of vampires. From their ominous glowing eyes, to their ability to take whatever form they wish, these aren't your standard "Hollywood" vampires.
