In his book, Frank Lewis addresses the role of Christianity in 21st Century America.

America entered the 21st Century on an ominous note. The 2000 presidential election was bitter and contentious and threatened to wreck our electoral system. On September 11 2001, Muslim terrorists struck at the heart of America, killing over 3,000 Americans. America was at war with terrorism and would never be the same. Victorious wars against terrorism were fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. But opposition to the war in Iraq was soon in coming. Liberals, stung by the 2000 presidential election defeat, have made attacking the Iraqi War and George W. Bush their top priority. This dishonorable liberal opposition to the war represents the latest in a long line of battles that have been waged in America's "Cultural Wars" between liberals and conservatives. For the past 40 years America has been engaged in a Cultural War to define the moral and political face of America. The battlegrounds have included civil rights (Affirmative Action), religious expression, sex, drugs, feminism, the family, public health, and Homosexuality. Judeo-Christian symbols have regularly been removed from America's public places. Christianity has been caught in the middle of this war. And Christianity during this time grew little relative to other beliefs such as Atheism, Secular Humanism, Deism, Scientology, and Witchcraft.

Lewis addresses each of these changes. He examines the historical sources of secular liberalism as well as pagan practices like Witchcraft. The effects of secular liberalism on America's morality and health are discussed. Secular government's approach to social and health problems are contrasted with Judeo-Christian teachings. The connections between Christianity and good personal health are documented. The Terrorist threat is emphasized. The faith of America's Christians and the need for revival is stressed. Lewis gives examples of how churches can "go out" to evangelize America. Finally, Dr. Lewis challenges America's Christians to speak out, to become politically active, to proclaim the Gospel, and to take back America. Like a mighty army, the Christian churches must march against and defeat the secular liberalism and paganism that now grips America!
